I create gentle, balanced explanations for children.

I wrote this one for my grandchildren.

This storytelling approach was inspired by the Substack post "How Can You Use AI to Speak Truths to a Child" by Gem Cowley of The Natural Learning Path and Dr Sam Illingworth of Slow AI (December 2025), whose exploration of AI as a tool for gentle, contextual explanation to children resonated deeply with my therapeutic work.

I write about the trauma and shame of not-belonging in school. How we're forced to fit rigid systems - sometimes at devasting personal cost. I want to contribute to the dreaming up of new ways to support children to learn.

I also write about aspects of giftedness and neurodiversity.
